Reflection on Calvary for February 22nd, 2019

What is it like to be on Calvary where Jesus gave up His life for us?  Listen to my reflection on Calvary.  February 22nd, 2019 - We started the day on Calvary some of us were able to touch the place were the Cross was embedded in the rock before Mass and others after Mass.

After Mass, we went to the Western Wall, which is the western wall of the Temple platform.  The Temple was destroyed in 70 AD and there are two Mosques on the platform now.  Then we visited the Church of St. Anne, which was built on the traditional site of Mary's birth, and the Pools of Bethesda.  We walked the Via Dolorosa while carrying the cross and praying the Stations of the Cross.  We returned to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which has Calvary and the Tomb of Jesus within it.  We waited about two hours in line to be able to enter and venerate the Tomb of Jesus.
