Discipleship and My Own Journey - 13th Sunday of OT - June 30, 2019

There was a time when I was not living the Catholic faith, but rather had drifted away.  I used the standards of society for my own morality, but I noticed some kind of emptiness, restlessness, sadness, and unhappiness in my life.  I tried to distract myself from this strange kind of pain with many things like video games, movies, board games, card games, and other forms of entertainment.  But as soon as the activity was over the pain returned.  It reached its climax one summer when I was in college. Listen to my homily to find out what happened...
