After two years as a seminarian, while I was on retreat, God revealed to me a lie, one that I had believed since childhood. A lie so deep within me that I didn’t know that it was there. ... I don’t know with certainty exactly when or how I started to believe the lie or where it came from. Maybe I as a little boy, while trying to understand the world around me, I came up with it myself.
