Overcoming Fear - 33rd Sunday in OT - November 17th, 2019

We all have experienced fear in our lives, fear of embarrassment, fear of persecution, fear of death, etc.  I'd like to share with you a time I was afraid.  I remember 10 or so years ago while I was living and working as nuclear engineer in Illinois, I thought about putting a pro-life bumper sticker on my car.  However, I was afraid that when someone else sees it, that person might get angry with me.  My imagination started to run with this idea and I started to think that if I did this, then I would be yelled at for being pro-life or, even have my car damaged... Listen to my homily to hear how this story ends and how we can better overcome our fears.
