Jesus loved us so much that He
came to earth and suffered and died for us.
He told us in John’s Gospel, “No one has greater love than this, to lay
down one’s life for one’s friends.” (15:13)
His life was truly a gift of Himself that He laid down for our salvation
and as an expression of His love for us.
He said, “No one takes it from me, but I lay it down on my own. I have
power to lay it down, and power to take it up again.” (John 10:18) Our king is a king who is willing to die to
save us out of His love for us! Who
wouldn’t want a king like that? Listen to my homily to hear more about His love for you!
